Hometown: Little Falls, MN

Family: My wife Angela and I have 3 children. Max (18) is a Freshman at the University of Nebraska, Madelyn (16) is a Junior at Brainerd High School and Meredith (13) is in 8^th grade at Forestview.

Hobbies: Some of my favorites are golf, boating and camping. My family and I make at least one camping trip a year to the Boundary Waters which is a great place to disconnect from otherwise busy lives. All of my kids are avid golfers so I like spending time on the course with them. I will admit they all beat me routinely! Also my youngest daughter Meredith and I have been members of the Brainerd Ski Loons team the past two years and have had lots of fun skiing with the team several nights a week.

Volunteering: I am a Battalion Chief on the Brainerd Fire Department and have been on the Brainerd Fire Department Relief Board for the past 15 years. I am involved with Housing First Minnesota serving on two event committees.

What makes the BPSF mission meaningful to you? Easy, the kids! Not just mine but all kids that are a part of ISD 181. My own kids have had a great experience and want to do my share to make sure that continues for them and those that come after them. I have been on the board for 3 years now and it is so incredible to me to see how much good we are doing to support the district. We have a great board and many regular volunteers that help carry out this mission.
